WETHERSFIELD RIDE-Sat. Sept. 10-This ride is going to be held on the beautiful Wethersfied Estate in Amenia, NY at 9:30 am and will be rescheduled if gets rained out. This estate has a total of 1200 acres and at the highest point you can see the Berkshire and the Catskill mountains. You'll see a sign along the trail pointing toward the look out and best photo op. The views are breathtaking no matter where you look. The horse/hiking trails are a 7 or 3 mile loop which are nicely groomed. Along the trails there are jumps which all have go arounds. The terrane has a combination of wooded hills and flats and fields. Parking isn't an issue there is plenty of room in the field at the entrance. It is required to sign a waiver. Maps will be provided for a self-guided ride. Helmets are required. Bring a lunch. After the ride we can break out chairs, relax and enjoy each other’s company.
